Jonah Karsten

Jonah is excited to bring Spotlight Volleyball to Sherwood Park for a third year and give athletes the opportunity to develop their skills, build relationships and enjoy competitive gameplay over the summer

Jonah is playing for the Golden Bears next fall while beginning his Master’s degree in Coaching. He brings four years of previous USPORTS experience with the MacEwan Griffins. He played for FOG Volleyball Club where he won the U17 national championship in 2019.

Jonah currently coaches with FOGG Volleyball club, and is an assistant coach with Team Alberta’s 17U boys this summer. His goal in our summer program is to create a training environment that promotes growth with intentional reps and application of learned techniques in gameplay. Jonah encourages athletes to approach the game with curiosity and persistence in improving their skills.
